VISION

At the Huntington Park Institute of Applied Medicine, it is our belief that all students will learn, graduate and pursue post-secondary education. In partnership with parents and the community, HPIAM will provide intellectually stimulating experiences for students that enhance learning and nurture a commitment to improving the quality of life in the local community.

Our mission is to provide every student with a rigorous and relevant standards-based curriculum that provides opportunities to explore health and medical related careers and professions, as well as enables students to achieve academic excellence in a safe and supportive learning environment. Using research-based instructional strategies, project-based learning, and inquiry-based learning experiences we will challenge students to develop collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills as well as creative and divergent thinking. The educational experiences we provide at HPIAM will ensure that students of all ability levels are well equipped to meet the challenges of post-secondary education, work and life.
